Guests receive a card: emerald satin doors with a gold seam, embroidered mandalas stitched into the corners, your names running down the hinge, and an ivory seal with your monogram. Tap the seal and the doors swing open on their hinges. Inside is card stock — ivory with a paper grain, gold running-stitch dividers, mandala lace embroidered into the margins — and the invitation reads the way the printed ones do: the ask, your portrait in a white mat, each of you on a panel with one great rounded corner, the parents' names, then the day, the countdown in an emerald plaque, the programme as stitched cards, and a white-matted album.
